Committees Information

Executive Committee
Develop the policy for the administration of any permanent headquarters. Authorize any expenditures not in excess of $200.00 other than for routine administrative expenses such as rent, telephone, postage, taxes, etc. Meet regularly, formulate policy, and make recommendations to the full Central Committee. Authorize the number of Central Committee members that may be appointed to each of the subcommittees.
Finance Committee - Chair, Fred Fleischmann
Responsible for all special events. Develop long term and short term strategic planning including development of budgets.
Fundraising Committee - Co Chairs,
Carl Brewer ; Mike Papas
Has the sole responsibility of raising and soliciting funds on behalf of the BCRCC. Their duties include: Planning and organizing all fundraising events, including Lincoln Day, investigating new and efficient ways of raising funds, and decisions of participation with other organizations in fundraising efforts. The Fundraising Committee is the "Revenue side" or our financial organization.
Precincts and Elections Committee - Co Chairs,
David Marks ; Al Mendelsohn
Maintain voter and precinct records. Engage in candidate recruitment and support. Responsible for the recruitment, organization, and staffing of polling locations. Responsible for the coordination of candidate and campaign materials. Organizing voter registration drives. Provide assistance in the recruiting of Election Judges.
Communications and Outreach Committee - Chair, Herman "Woody" Wood
Coordinating communications with community and political organizations. Publication of the Central Committee newsletter. Maintaining the Central Committee website, e-mail, and other such electronic media. Publication of press releases regarding the Committee's activities and announcements.
Organization and Rules Committee - Co Chairs,
Al Mendelsohn ; David Marks
Reviewing the Republican Central Committee of Baltimore County Constitution and Bylaws in relation to regulations imposed by the State of Maryland Election Laws and by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Republican State Central Committee of Maryland.
State Party Affairs Committee - Chair, Gloria Murphy
Keep the Central Committee informed about conventions and related activities. Floor management of the State convention floor, including proxies and vote tallying Communications with the state party officers and headquarters.
Administration and Ethics Committee - Chair, Ray Allen
Maintenance of any county headquarters including staffing and use scheduling. Review of complaints regarding the conduct of members' conduct and recommendations for appropriate action to be taken.
